SALMI
Capítulo 128
1
Cantico di Maalot BEATO chiunque teme il Signore,
E cammina nelle sue vie.
2
Perciocchè tu mangerai della fatica delle tue mani;
Tu sarai beato, ed egli ti sarà bene.
3
La tua moglie sarà dentro della tua casa
Come una vigna fruttifera;
I tuoi figliuoli saranno d'intorno alla tua tavola,
Come piante novelle di ulivi.
4
Ecco, certamente così sarà benedetto
L'uomo che teme il Signore.
5
Il Signore ti benedirà di Sion;
E tu vedrai il bene di Gerusalemme
Tutti i giorni della tua vita;
6
E vedrai i figliuoli de' tuoi figliuoli.
Pace sia sopra Israele.
Psalms
Capítulo 128
1
A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5
The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6
Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
