Capítulo 28
1
De Davi. A ti, SENHOR, eu clamo.
Minha rocha, não sejas surdo para mim,
para que, se ficares em silêncio para mim,
eu não me torne como os que descem à cova.
2
Ouve a voz das minhas súplicas, quando clamo a ti,
quando levanto as minhas mãos para o teu Lugar Santíssimo.
3
Não me arrastes com os ímpios,
com os que praticam a iniquidade, que falam de paz com os seus próximos,
mas a maldade está em seus corações.
4
Dá-lhes segundo as suas obras e segundo a maldade dos seus atos.
Dá-lhes segundo a obra das suas mãos.
Retribui-lhes o que merecem.
5
Porque eles não respeitam as obras do SENHOR,
nem a obra das suas mãos,
ele os derrubará e não os edificará.
6
Bendito seja o SENHOR,
porque ele ouviu a voz das minhas súplicas.
7
O SENHOR é a minha força e o meu escudo.
O meu coração confiou nele, e eu sou ajudado.
Por isso o meu coração muito se alegra.
Com o meu cântico eu lhe darei graças.
8
O SENHOR é a força deles.
Ele é uma fortaleza de salvação para o seu ungido.
9
Salva o teu povo,
e abençoa a tua herança.
Sê também o seu pastor,
e carrega-os para sempre.

Capítulo 28
1
A Psalm of David. Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
2
Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
3
Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
4
Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
5
Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
6
Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
8
The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
9
Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
