Chapter 12
1
(012:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Sou wityèm lan. Se yon sòm David. (012:2) vin sove nou non, Seyè! Pa gen moun ki renmen ou ankò! Pa gen moun sou latè k'ap sèvi ou ak tout kè yo ankò!
2
(012:3) Yonn ap bay lòt manti. Yonn ap flate lòt, yonn ap twonpe lòt.
3
(012:4) Seyè, fèmen bouch bann flatè sa yo, bann moun sa yo k'ap vante tèt yo.
4
(012:5) Y'ap plede di: -Nou pale jan nou vle. Bouch nou rele n' pa nou. Ki moun ki pou pase nou lòd?
5
(012:6) Y'ap peze malere yo. Pòv yo ap soufri, y'ap plenyen. Men, Seyè a di: M'ap vini koulye a. M'ap ba yo sekou y'ap tann lan.
6
(012:7) Pawòl Seyè a se bon pawòl. Li tankou lajan yo pase sèt fwa nan dife pou wè si li bon.
7
(012:8) Ou menm, Seyè, w'a toujou defann nou! Pa kite moun sa yo fè nou anyen!
8
(012:9) Mechan yo ap pwonmennen sou moun toupatou: se tout moun k'ap fè lwanj move bagay y'ap fè yo.
Psalms
Chapter 12
1
To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2
They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3
The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
4
Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
5
For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
6
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
8
The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
